Payment Policies

Rates are subject to change and may vary for events beyond our control, such as changes in taxes. Please make checks payable to Caye Resorts in US dollars. A 20% deposit per person is due within 10 days of reservation. We accept personal and certified checks. Visa and MasterCard for deposit only; balance payable by check. Balance due and payable 60 days prior to arrival. Reservations made less than 60 days prior to arrival are to be paid in full upon receipt of confirmation.

Terms and Conditions

Unused portions of accommodations, meals and/or activities are non-refundable. All boat itineraries are weather and conditions permitting at Captain's discretion. All dives are at Dive Master's discretion. Manta Resort will not be responsible for any loss of or damage to personal equipment or property during your stay or during your participation in our activities. Manta Resort, or its agent, Caye Resorts, will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside our control such as late arrival of flights, severe weather, acts of God, acts of government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that you must cancel your reservation, refunds will be made according to the following schedule per person: up to 90 days prior to departure, all monies paid less $200; 89 to 60 days, all funds paid less deposit; 59 to 31 days, 50% of funds paid; 30 days or less no monies will be refunded. During peak seasons or holidays, other conditions may apply.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out a comprehensive travel policy at the time of booking, to protect you and all those accompanying you for the full time of your visit against illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellations and other travel contingencies. While you are free to purchase insurance from any source, a form will be sent you upon registration for your convenience.
