Day 1, Saturday
Arrive Belize City and transfer to Blackbird
Caye Resort or Isla Marisol.

Days 2-3, Sunday-Monday
Two full days of snorkeling/diving, kayaking, hammock time and enjoying
life on your tropical island.

Day 4, Tuesday
For those staying at Blackbird Caye Resort, depart the resort early for
the boat ride to the world-famous Blue Hole for snorkeling and diving.
Guests at Isla Marisol will spend the day diving or snorkeling the extensive
reef system surrounding the resort.

Day
5, Wednesday
Enjoy breakfast before your early morning departure from the resort for
Belize City. A driver will meet you at the boat dock to take you to duPlooys
Jungle Lodge on the Macal River. After a relaxing lunch
at the resort enjoy a canoe trip to a nearby butterfly farm.

Day 6, Thursday
After breakfast depart for the Mayan ruins of Tikal in Guatemala. While
climbing the temples and touring the ruins we can expect to see spider
monkeys, coatamundi, gray fox and many species of tropical birds.

Day 7, Friday
After breakfast choose your activity for the day: cave tubing at Jaguar
Paw or a trip to Barton Creek caves and nearby waterfalls. Afterwards
return to duPlooys for dinner.

8, Saturday
After a leisurely breakfast depart for Belize City with a stop at the
Belize Zoo en route to the airport for your flight home. B

Tour Details
Price includes: all meals as indicated on itinerary, accomodations, in-country
transfers, and all activities as described in the itinerary.
Price does not include: $40 Blue Hole marine reserve fee &
hotel taxes (Blackbird only), snorkel or dive
equipment rental, airport departure tax, tips, beverages and
items of a personal nature.
Single supplement is 50% of the regular
tour cost.
A holiday surcharge will apply to trips
during Christmas and New Years. Contact our office for details.
*Upgrade to a superior cabana for $100 per person or deluxe cabana at Blackbird Caye Resort for an additional
$300/person.

Terms and Conditions
Rates are subject to change and may vary for events beyond our control, such as changes in taxes. Please make checks payable to Caye Resorts in US dollars. A 20% deposit per person is due within 10 days of reservation. We accept Visa & Mastercard for deposit only. Balance payable by check 60 days prior to arrival.
Reservations made and confirmed less than 60 days prior to arrival are to be paid in full upon receipt of confirmation.
Cancellations made up to 90 days prior to arrival receive a full refund less a $200.00pp cancellation fee. 89 to 60 days prior will forfeit deposit. 59 - 31 days forfeit 50% of total & 30 days or less no monies will be refunded. During peak seasons or holidays, other conditions may apply.
Unused portions of accommodations, meals and/or activities are non-refundable.
All boat itineraries are weather and conditions permitting at Captainís discretion.
All dives are at Divemasterís discretion.
Blackbird Caye Resort will not be responsible for any loss of or damage to personal equipment or property Blackbird Caye Resort, or its agent Caye Resorts, will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside our control such as late arrival of flights, severe weather, acts of God, acts of government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment.
Because many advance logistical arrangements have been made prior to the running of our tours, we must adhere to our cancellation policy (above). Travel insurance will reimburse your tour fees and airfare if you cannot travel due to personal illness, or if an immediate family member becomes ill, preventing your planned travel. Travel insurance can also cover any delays and interruptions due to weather or air schedule disruptions.
In addition, please be aware that many insurance policies do not cover illness and accident expenses outside of the U.S., and Medicare does NOT cover any such expenses at all. In light of this, we strongly recommend trip cancellation and supplemental insurance.
